New, Bright Classrooms at Birchwood

This evening, I would like to dedicate my report to our new Student Commissioners, Cassidy Anderson and Rebecca Hernandez. The reason we are here around this council table is to work together to provide the best education we can for the students of Lester B. Pearson. We may not be perfect, but we strive for excellence, while we address, on an ongoing basis, the changing landscape surrounding us and the challenges, both positive and negative, we encounter daily in being the best we can be.

I am pleased to report that the new school year is off to a smooth start. Students and staff have settled into new routines, and we look forward to the next several months of learning and growing together.
