To ensure members of the Lester B. Pearson School Board community remain up to date regarding what transpires at regular Council of Commissioners meetings, the Department of Communications and
Community Development sends out summaries of the different decisions that are taken following each meeting.
Please find some highlights of decisions that were taken during the January 31st regular meeting.
1. The Council of Commissioners of the Lester B. Pearson School Board approved authorization for sports protocols be signed with the Fédération québécoise de ski acrobatique and Tennis 13 Inc. following the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec’s decision to allow the LBPSB to offer the Sport-Études program at John Rennie High School until June 30, 2024.
2. The Council of Commissioners approved the awarding of the Electrical Works and Cabling Contract for the period of February 1, 2022 to January 31, 2025 in accordance with the tender documents, to the lowest compliant bidder, R.T. & Tony Electrique Inc.
3. The Council of Commissioners approved that the contract for the purchase of filters for air purifiers for the period of February 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023 be awarded, in accordance with the tender documents, to the lowest compliant bidder, Novexco Inc.
