To ensure members of the Lester B. Pearson School Board community remain up-to-date regarding what transpires at regular Council of Commissioners meetings, the Department of Communications and Community Development sends out summaries of the different decisions that are taken following each meeting.

1. The Council of Commissioners approved that Sandra Luther be appointed Director of Student Services of the Lester B. Pearson School Board, effective August 15, 2024.

2. The Council of Commissioners approved the $11.75 per student Québec English School Board Association membership fee for the 2024-2025 QESBA financial year which begins on July 1, 2024 and that the Council of Commissioners authorize the disbursement of the membership fees as follows:

• • A first installment in the amount of $196 959.38, payable by July 1, 2024, representing 75% of the fees based on the number of students registered on September 30, 2023, and a second installment representing the remaining 25% of the fees, to be invoiced in the next school year.

3. The Council of Commissioners approved that the snow removal contracts (Project #S2401) for the period of November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2029, be awarded, in accordance with the tender documents, to the lowest compliant bidder for each sector.

4. The Council of Commissioners approved that the Lester Pearson School Board’s Three-Year Plan of Allocation and Destination of Immovables July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027 be adopted and that the applicable deeds of establishment be issued or modified accordingly.
