25 Years of Service, 25 Years of Dedication

The Lester B. Pearson School Board recently celebrated 187 staff members for their 25 years of dedicated service. Honourees were welcomed to a cocktail reception at head office, where they enjoyed a selection of food and beverages in recognition of their commitment and contributions.
Old colleagues were reunited, sharing fond memories and reminiscing. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and gratitude, celebrating the honourees’ invaluable contributions to the Lester B. Pearson School Board.
Dr. Cindy Finn, DG of the Lester B. Pearson School Board opened the ceremony with a speech before receiving a 25-year service pin from Judith Kelley, Chair of the Council of Commissioners. After accepting her pin, Dr. Finn presented pins to honorees from head office. Deborah Dixon, Regional Director for elementary schools in the east, recognized staff and teachers from her district, while David Chisholm, Regional Director for elementary schools in the west, did the same for his region. Kathleen O’Reilly, Regional Director for high schools, and Maggie Soldano, Director of Continuing Education, also distributed service pins to their respective honorees.
