A Sunny Celebration at Island Fête

On September 2nd, long-time Lester B. Pearson School Board community partner Overture with the Arts held its first annual Island Fête festival directly across from Pierrefonds Community High School.

Featuring sumptuous Caribbean cuisine, live entertainment, BIPOC businesses, Black art, and bouncy castles for the kids, it was co-hosted by the Lester B. Pearson’s own Commissioner of Electoral Division 5 Malik Shaheed. At least one Director General was spotted enjoying the sunny vibes!
