Pearson School Board community remain up-to-date regarding what transpires at regular Council of Commissioners meetings, the Department of Communications and Community Development sends out summaries of the different decisions that are taken following each meeting.

Staffing Appointments and Assignments:

• Nancy Potvin appointed as Assistant Director of Human Resources, effective July 1,
• Idir Denane appointed as Assistant Director of Equipment Services, effective April 28,
• Dion Joseph temporarily assigned as Regional Director, effective July 1,
• Allison Brown temporarily assigned as Assistant Director of Student Services, effective July 1,
• Shannon McNulty temporarily assigned as Coordinator of Human Resources, effective July 1,

Board Administrative Structure

• Adopted the Board-level administrative structure, effective April 27, 2026.

Student Transportation Plan

• Adopted the 2026–2027 Student Transportation Organizational Plan.

Procurement Participation and Authorization

• Approved participation in the Centre d’acquisitions gouvernementales (CAG) group purchasing program for computers, Chromebooks, monitors, and accessories.
• Agreement set for a 24-month term, with the option to renew for three additional one-year
• Approved a maximum budget of $12,000,000 (before taxes) over a five-year
