The annual EDDI summary for 2023-2024 has been posted on the Lester B. Pearson School Board Website for review by our community. This marks the 3rd year since the publication of the Task Force report in June 2021, and the third annual summary.

EDDI

The 2023-2024 report presents an overview of the work completed during last school year to ensure that all learners have a place in our schools and centres.

The LBPSB’s action plan was developed in response to the recommendations from this report and are presented in the Commitment to Equity, Diversity, Dignity and Inclusion (EDDI) document. The LBPSB’s actions are organized according to 4 foundational pillars:

  • Professional development
  • Educational resources
  • Regulations and policy
  • Infrastructure

The report is divided into six video capsules: opening remarks, a capsule for each of the four pillars, and closing remarks.
