Rosemary Hill, an English teacher at Beaconsfield High School, and Steven Dubinsky, a music teacher at Westwood High School, are the recipients of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence. The awards recognize elementary and secondary school teachers in all disciplines for their contributions and achievements in education and for their commitment to preparing youth for a digital and innovation-based economy.

“On behalf of the entire Lester B. Pearson School Board, I would like to congratulate Rosemary on being recognized with this prestigious award. She has motivated generations of students and served as an inspiration for her colleagues. Rosemary is most deserving of this award for her unyielding commitment to student success and passion for education,” said Cindy Finn, Director General of the LBPSB.
