A Tribute to the LBPSB Painters
submitted by Marie-France Lacombe, Principal, Verdun Elementary School
Most of us who work in a LBPSB building have had the pleasure of crossing paths with these three remarkable gentlemen at some point in our careers. It’s important to take a moment to recognize them, as they are the ones who make our work environments brighter, cleaner, and better every single day.
Glenroy Moses has been with us for nearly 17 years, his brother Jason Moses for 14 years, and Ricardo Miller for over 7 years. Each of them shows unwavering dedication—arriving early to get a head start before the day’s bustle begins. They move through our hallways with quiet respect and kindness, always mindful of the rhythm of school life. Whether stepping aside to let students pass or greeting them with a friendly smile, they have truly become part of our school community.
As Verdun Elementary undergoes its exciting transformation, Glenroy, Jason, and Ricardo continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our staff and students experience as little disruption as possible. This is no easy task, yet they make it seem effortless.
We are deeply grateful to them for their commitment, professionalism, and care—and we are proud to honour these dedicated individuals who help make our school shine.
