A Crescendo at Westwood Sr.
submitted by Peggy Grant,
Principal, Westwood High School Sr.
It was an emotional night recently as our renowned Mr. Dubinsky conducted his very talented bands at his last concert. We saw a snippet of the hard work that he invests and also instills into every music student.
What a privilege it has been for Hudson High/Westwood Senior to have such a dedicated, talented, selfless, and kind teacher on staff for 28 years. It is clear that the whole local community, as well as the wider community, recognizes the diamond that is Mr. Dubinsky.
Our students played beautifully last night, and we know that as a new chapter begins for them in January, they will take what they have learned from the educator they respect and value so much and become even better musicians.
Many thanks to Mr. Patrick Roy whose video production and sound enabled us to live stream the concert via this platform. Without an auditorium, events like these aren’t easy to set up or manage.
Thank you also to our Admin and office team, Ms. Hogan and her Leadership crew, Chartwells, Mme. Lanthier and her Yearbook photographers, and Mr. Rassi and the volunteer parents who always help and support both our students and Mr. Dubinsky. We also have to acknowledge the band students who made such touching speeches and gifts for Mr. Dubinsky.

Congratulations Steve!! My husband, Danny McKinney, knew Steve from his beginnings at Lindsay Place high school. He thought he was a very talented , enthusiastic teacher but more importantly he was a man filled with kindness and a caring heart. May you enjoy your retirement Steve!! Marion McKinney
