New ESD Webpage Shares Trusted Resources

The team decided on a streamlined approach which included a clear description of what the ESD is and what they do, along side a curated collection of publicly available resources categorized by subject.

Pedagogical consultant Mike Gabe played a key role in building the new page. Organizing the text and securing permissions for logos and resource descriptions from outside agencies, he also ensured that the page layout matched the Board’s design seamlessly, and collaborated on building the page with the web designer.

In an age of misinformation and AI “slop,” the ESD page offers resources that have been vetted by the ESD team. Parents and students can find resources they know will support learning and that are trustworthy and effective.

Mat Canavan, the Director of Educational Services, emphasized his department’s commitment to community support. “We are happy to be able to provide resources to our parents, students, and communities that will support them in their educational journeys,” he noted.
