PCHS Alum to Join Ole Miss Rebels Football

PCHS Alum Heads to The University of Mississippi for Football

by Marilyn Santucci

Shekai Mills-Knight, a proud alum of Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School, recently revealed his exciting college football decision. Last month, he announced that he will be joining the University of Mississippi’s Ole Miss Rebels for the 2025 season.

Ranked as the No. 7 running back in the Rivals250 for the 2025 recruiting class, Shekai, a standout from Baylor School, narrowed his choices down to four prestigious programs: the University of Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn University Tigers, University of Miami Hurricanes, and the University of Mississippi Rebels. On August 17, in a highly anticipated moment at PCHS, Shekai shared his choice with friends and family.

Surrounded by his loved ones, Shekai made a dramatic reveal by opening his suit jacket to proudly display his commitment to the University of Mississippi. Former football coaches from North Shore Football and Sunnybrook Football, where he played for several years, were in attendance to support.

The 6’1 running back from Montreal will be completing his studies at Baylor School next spring and will be joining the Ole Miss Rebels in the Fall of 2025.
