“Santa to Senior” at Pierrefonds Community High School

For the 4th consecutive year, Pierrefonds Community High School is supporting a great endeavour on the West Island. Santa to Senior is a great opportunity to bring happiness to Seniors living in residences who may experience a lonely holiday season.
Staff and students at the school were able to adopt two residences, the Mont Royal and LILO. Roughly 60 requests, or “tags” were given to PCHS.
It was a true collaboration. CFER, which once operated out of PCHS with their warehouse in the old Riverdale building (and which has recently moved to John Rennie High School) along with PCHS staff & students joined together to accept all the tags. Every request was fulfilled.
The requests ranged from clothing and electronics to food. One International Baccalaureate class made holiday greeting cards for all residents.
