A Virtual Tour of the Potential and Success at the LBPSB Post Secondary Education Fair

by Dan Mullins

In two bustling gyms at John Rennie High School this November, the future came into focus for hundreds of students across the Lester B. Pearson School Board. With the hum of conversation and a steady flow of curious visitors, the 2025 Post-Secondary Education Fair (PSEF) offered time, space, and personal connection to explore what comes next.

Held on a board-wide ped. day, the fair drew strong attendance from Secondary 4 and 5 students, adult learners, and parents alike. Booths representing vocational training centres, Quebec CEGEPs, Ontario colleges, and major Canadian universities lined both the Main and Terry Fox gyms, offering face-to-face advice, program details, and future pathways. Overseen by John Rennie’s Ms. Mirella Fuga and the guidance counselors of schools throughout the LBPSB, the fair attracted over 40 exhibitors. These ranged from McGill and Concordia to West Island Career Centre and the Royal Military College, and attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, gather brochures, and reflect on their ambitions.

If you missed the event or want a second look, below we present an interactive virtual tour of the PSEF. Each booth is marked with a hotspot: click to view photos of the kiosk and access direct links to each institution’s website. Explore booths by section: CEGEPs, Universities, Vocational and Adult Education, or Alternate Paths, or browse the complete list of participants at the bottom of the page.
