St. John Fisher Sr. 2025 Ninja Warrior Competition

Excitement has been building at St. John Fisher Sr. as finalists geared up for the 2025 Ninja Warrior Competition! This event has put our students’ agility, strength, and speed to the test as they navigate a challenging obstacle course designed to push their limits.
Over the past few weeks, students have been competing in qualifying rounds to earn a spot among the Top 10 fastest ninjas. These finalists faced off on Friday, February 21st in an epic showdown in front of the entire school!
Meet our 10 Ninja finalists :

Sabrina “The Quickest Ninja” Smith
William “I Don’t Know What my Ninja Name Is” Montmarquette
Nadia “HK Addicted” Bailey

Abby “Abébé” Takahashi
Crimson “Red” Whitty
Westley “Explosive” Knox
Our finalists ranged from grade 4 to grade 6, with a very tight battle separating them by only a few seconds. In the end our Champion, Master Ninja Sophia “Mini but Mighty” Pawlusiak, now in grade 6, stole the title from her brother, fourth grader James “The Beast Master” Pawlusiak by only 1 second! This has been a family tradition, since both James and Sophia have made it to the school finals every year since they were in grade three, showing that their rock-climbing training really pays off. Finally, our 3rd place finalist fifth grader Emmett “The Blueberry” Nicholson is ready to go again next year, to try to earn the title of Master Ninja.
Students and staff from SJF Sr showed amazing spirit and respect while cheering for every Ninja as they went through the obstacle course, showcasing their determination and athleticism. It was a thrilling event filled with school spirit, friendly competition, and plenty of surprises!
