Staff Spotlight: Beverly Ann Landry, Art Specialist
by Marilyn Santucci
Many of our schools feature hallways adorned with vibrant murals, bringing color and inspiration to everyday spaces. The creative force behind this magic is Beverly Ann Landry, an Art Specialist at the Lester B. Pearson School Board.
Landry has been with the board for five years, but her passion for art began in grade four, when a teacher noticed her talent and encouraged her to explore it further. She went on to study textiles at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and began focusing on painting about ten years ago, after attending the Brésoles Academy in Montreal.
Her murals can be seen at schools such as John Rennie High School, Beaconsfield High School, Alion Elementary, Verdun Elementary, Children’s World Academy and many more.
