The Council of Commissioners of the Lester B. Pearson School Board is pleased to announce it has approved a decision to appoint Stephanie Stever to the position of Assistant Director General of the Lester B. Pearson School Board. The decision was taken last night during a regular meeting of the LBPSB’s Council of Commissioners.

With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, Ms. Stever has held several roles including teacher, vice principal, principal, coordinator of Student Services and most recently as director of Student Services at the LBPSB.

“Ms. Stever is an educational leader. With her passion for student success, she will undoubtedly continue to play an integral role in terms of fostering a supportive learning environment for all LBPSB students and staff,” said LBPSB Director General Cindy Finn.

“Our school board is currently facing numerous challenges. I therefore look forward to continued collaboration with all school board employees as well as other stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives, enhance educational programs, while promoting our culture of excellence in education and inclusivity across all our schools and centres,” said Stephanie Stever.

Ms. Stever will begin her mandate as Assistant Director General on August 15th 2024.
