Terry Fox Run Season 2025
by Communications and Community Development Staff
Each fall, the Lester B. Pearson School Board community unites in support of the Terry Fox Run, honouring a Canadian hero whose Marathon of Hope continues to inspire. Once again this year, our schools and staff are stepping forward—running, walking, and rolling together—to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
As of this week, several schools have already held their runs, filling their schoolyards and neighbourhoods with the spirit of determination and hope that Terry embodied.
Here we present photos from several of the schools that have already run, along with images from Head Office’s event. Smiles, cheers, and countless steps forward were captured in photos that remind us of the strength of community when it rallies for a cause larger than itself.
For many of our schools, the run is still just ahead. These upcoming events will carry the torch onward, ensuring that every part of our school board has the chance to contribute to Terry’s vision of a world without cancer. Whether big or small, every step adds to a journey that has spanned more than four decades and included millions of participants.
